Dr. Harkins is the pastor Washington, DC’s Nineteenth Street Baptist Church and one of the nation’s most respected religious leaders. Under his guidance, his church has been active in HIV/AIDS awareness and prevention efforts in the DC area and beyond for years. Here, Pastor Harkins discusses the Black church’s role in the fight against the epidemic.
